About
This is the blog-o-sphere for Patrick Sebring, a game designer that grew up in the pacific northwest and now finds himself in the south (North Carolina in particular). I spend my time painting on black velvet and nerding out with a pint in hand. I regularly participate in local area gamejams and do talks at colleges and confrences regarding design constraints and scripting or architectural considerations in game design.
Background:
I’m currently working at Destineer Studios as a designer on a yet to be announced title. Prior to that I worked at Red Storm Entertainment for nearly three years (Rainbow Six: Lockdown (PC), Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter DLC, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 + DLC and America’s Army: True Soldiers).
Before that I worked at Zombie Studios in Seattle for two and a half years developing two Xbox and PC (Shadow Ops: Red Mercury and Combat: Taskforce 121) titles and 20 flash games in that time. Prior to the game industry I worked in the Tech industry for 10 years from Boeing Defense and Space Group satellite ventures to networking systems for hospitals.
